The 4100 Series shocks introduce high performance monotube technology at prices competitive with twin tube insert coilover kits. These offer significantly better performance and a greater adjustment range than similarly priced twin tube coilovers (ie KW, RCE). They include purpose built strut and shock bodies, shortened from stock lengths. They are single adjustable and can be custom valved for your application. 4100s use the same internals as 4300 Competition shocks. These are internally exactly the same as the "re-branded" AST 4100s another vendor sells for over $700 more. Don't be fooled by wild claims about special valving and custom racing internals. The bottom line is every AST 4100 05-07 STi damper uses the same internal parts and every single AST damper is valved by AST whether it's called an AST coilover or not.
