The X-3 uses triple adjustable Penske external reservoirs. Anyone who is familiar with Penske will understand that we cut no corners when it came to developing independently adjustable high-speed and low-speed compression. This is one of the best names in the history of automotive suspension. We used their platform for our base technology and further refined it for the specific makes and models that we focus on. Penske triple adjustable coilovers can cost over $20,000, so the fact that our coilovers come in under $10,000 makes them a bargain when it comes to coilover sets that can go toe-to-toe with any other option in the world.
We also partnered with Hyperco/MW to develop application specific springs and application specific hydraulic spring perches. These springs are the best in the business and guarantee a plus minus 2% tolerance which is something that no one else in the industry offers. The hydraulic spring perches ensure that the spring only exerts even force on the shock for the longest life and smoothest possible operation. This is something that you won’t even find on Moton or JRZ.
We use the same group 5 esther based high viscosity shock oil as we do in our other products which makes these coilovers exceptionally consistent under a wide variety of temperatures and driving conditions. It also ensures that you will get extremely long life out of your coilovers, and if you ever need to rebuild them we can handle that quickly and easily in the United States with readily available components from Penske.
We take each set of X-3’s through its paces to ensure every shock is flawless. We run PVP’s on every shock, and we include the printouts in the box for the customer. Much like a $2 million exotic car every set of X-3’s comes with special support and product orientation. Geoff Parnum, the founder of Cygnus Performance, will spend as much time as needed walking you through tuning your triple adjustable coilovers with an initial phone consultation once the coilovers are installed. From there he will be directly available for any support you may need in the future. This is our flagship product, and we will do everything required to ensure your success with our it. There is a massive difference between this level of support and what some of the European competitors in this price range offer. Typically with these European based competitors the people who developed the shocks are an ocean away and the platforms they developed them with may be significantly different from your vehicle. Although you need to go to the track to use these coilovers to their full potential they are very streetable.
